Being offered for sale is the antique MINER'S PICK AXE (with unique eyeless/strapped head) RESTORED and with ANTIQUE REPLACEMENT HANDLE by unknown maker (no visible maker's mark(s)) from circa the late 19th or early 20th century (best guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. CONDITION NOTES:
Excellent, restored condition. Heavy rust was removed using wire-wheel, exposing severe, deep pitting throughout. Refinished in matte black. Pitting still visible, giving it an awesome textured look. Replacement handle is also a genuine antique and remains structurally solid & strong with NO breaks or repairs. It is firmly & securely attached to axe head and features deep, genuine patina plus many small wormholes throughout, making this piece even more unique! Gorgeous restored old tool!! See pics.
